GETTING HERE

LOCATION

It’s easy to reach Margam Country Park by car, its just off the M4 

Margam Country Park, Margam, Neath Port Talbot, Glamorgan, SA13 2T

CAR

There is car parking available on both days, More information available soon.

COACH

We will be running coaches from Swansea, Cardiff, Rhondda and Bristol to and from the event. Tickets will be available to purchase on Skiddle. More information coming soon.

TRAIN AND BUS SERVICES
Bus X1, a Cymru Clipper runs frequently (less on Sundays) from Swansea bus station (stand G). The journey takes about 55 minutes. Hop off at the main entrance. Bus X1 also runs from Port Talbot bus station and train stations (10-15 mins) and Bridgend bus station (25 mins, and a 5-minute walk from the train station).

There are direct trains to Bridgend from: Cardiff Central (20 mins), Newport (30 mins), Bristol Parkway (55 mins), Aberdare and Cheltenham. There are direct trains to Port Talbot Parkway from: Swansea (20 mins), Llanelli (50 mins) and Milford Haven. Trains from London Paddington and Manchester Piccadilly stop at both stations.

TAXI SERVICES

You can order a taxi straight to the grounds of Margam from your location. Local taxi services are Uber, Red Dragon, Yellow Cabs, Jackson Cabs Ltd, NTC - Neath Taxi Cabs, Neath Premier Taxis and Central Cabs Neath.

Payment plans are available for this event. Please purchase a ‘Carl Cox Payment Plan’ ticket where you will be required to pay a deposit and 2x instalments via Skiddle.

Yes, please ensure you dress for the weather and don’t forget your sun cream!

CAN I BRING A CHAIR?

IF IT RAINS, WILL THE EVENT GO AHEAD?

Absolutely! Concerts are only ever cancelled due to the weather if the conditions become dangerous. However, you cannot bring an umbrella, so please dress appropriately and bring waterproofs.

 

WHAT IS YOUR AGE POLICY?

This is a strictly 18+ event. Valid ID is required upon entry.

CAN I BRING FOOD AND DRINK?

Food and drink are not permitted however there are food and drink concessions within the event.

How do I purchase an Accessible Ticket?

We want Solo Promotions ltd to be an event accessible for all. To ensure we have the correct level of facilities we ask customers to purchase ticket on Skiddle and contact us info@solopromotions.co.uk where we will issue you with the correct ticket type in advance of the event.

What if I require an Essential Companion?

Once you have purchased your ticket please let us know if you require an accessible ticket with the addition of an essential companion by contacting info@solopromotions.co.uk. Please note that there will be an approval process, for the approval process, you will be contacted to provide supporting documentation for validation of your request.

 

Please check the terms and conditions for companion tickets to see what type of supporting documentation you can provide.

 

If your request for a companion ticket is not approved, Skiddle can advise on the procedure.

 

Terms and Conditions for Essential Companion Tickets

If you have selected a companion ticket, you will be contacted to provide one of the following forms of supporting documentation as evidence to grant a complimentary companion ticket:

 

• Any level of DLA

• Any level of PIP

• Medical professional’s letter

• Armed forces independent payment

• War disablement pension

• D/Deaf or blind registration

• Nimbus access card

• Blue Badge – Only accepted as adequate evidence for accessible car parking.

Accessible Viewing Area

The accessible viewing area is located with a prime view of the stage. There are accessible toilets situated at the accessibility viewing area and main toilet blocks in the area.

 

The accessible viewing area has a limited capacity and is strictly for access customers plus 1 companion only.

Ground Conditions

Grounds are flat and unrestricted.

 

Strobe Lighting and Special Effects

Smoke machines, strobe lights, fireworks and other effects may be in use at this event. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind.

 

Medication

You are permitted to bring required medication. Please bring a copy of your prescription or a doctor’s note. Please make sure you only bring enough for the duration of the festival and ensure you keep it safe with you at all times.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are permitted on site. If you require to bring a registered assistance dog, please contact info@solopromotions.co.uk. Please ensure the dog will need to be comfortable with all aspects of the event described.

Temporary Impairments

Please note that Solo Promotions ltd accessible facilities cannot cater for people with temporary impairments such as broken bones, healing injuries and those who are pregnant.

 

If you do have a temporary impairment, please be aware that there will be a lot of walking to get around the festival and not many places to sit.

Free Drinking Water

There is free drinking water available at the re-fill drinking stations. Please look out for the signage within the arena.

If you have a medical condition, then a doctor’s note will permit diet-specific food and drink only.

 

Welfare Tent

There are medical and welfare facilities available within the arena. The medical point will be

clearly identified Please ask a member of security to direct you to the facilities if required.

You are permitted to bring required medication into Solo Promotions LTD. Please bring a copy of your prescription or a doctor’s note. Please make sure you only bring enough for the duration of the festival and ensure you keep it safe with you at all times.

Small bags are permitted. Bag searches will be in operation.

Crime Prevention

We advise against bringing valuables to the event, however, if you choose to do so please keep
them hidden from view where possible.

Can I bring an Umbrella?
Umbrellas are not permitted as they obscure the view for others.


Can I bring a Camera?
Any cameras that are deemed as “Professional” will not be permitted into the arena.


Permitted:
Non-Professional Recording Equipment (Shoot Cameras, Flip Video Cameras, etc)


Not Permitted:
Professional Recording (Photo, Video, Audio) Equipment (NO Detachable Zoom Lense, Tripods
or Other Commercial Equipment) Selfie Sticks

Re Admittance Policy

There is strictly no readmission on the day.  Day ticket holders should expect queues at the entry gate and arrive with plenty of time before the first act they wish to see – no refunds will be given for acts missed.
